Paul Fontaine ‘07SCE Receives Tech10 Award for IT Innovation

Fontaine is Chief Information Officer at Providence College

Paul Fontaine ‘07SCE, Chief Information Officer at Providence College, has been named a recipient of the 2019 Tech10 Awards presented by Rhode Island Monthly and Tech Collective. The award recognizes ten innovative thinkers in Rhode Island’s Information Technology (IT) community each year. Fontaine graduated from PC’s School of Continuing Education with a BA in Liberal Studies in 2007.

In his career Fontaine says he is most proud of the work he does in his role as CIO at PC, telling Rhode Island Monthly, “I am in a position to support the college’s mission by helping provide the tools and the insights that help our past, present and future students find their ways to ‘lives of meaning and purpose,’ our fondest hope for all of them.”
