Traditional Transfer Agreements: CCRI to PC

Traditional transfer agreements between the School of Continuing Education (SCE) and the Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI) are for people who have completed an associate’s degree or at least 60 credits at CCRI. These agreements ease the way for qualifying people to earn a bachelor’s degree in select programs at SCE.

(Please note: if you’re a current student at CCRI who has earned less than 45 credits, please see our CCRI-to-PC GATA program page instead. If you attended CCRI in the past but completed less than 60 credits, please use our regular application process to apply and transfer credits.)

The benefits of these transfer agreements include:

  • You are guaranteed admission into SCE
  • You can apply to SCE for free – we’ll waive your $55 application fee
  • You can apply for special scholarships for transfer students
  • You may transfer in up to 75 credits to SCE

In order to be eligible, you must:

  • Earn, or have earned, a minimum of 60 credits in an associate’s degree program at CCRI
  • Maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale and be in good academic and disciplinary standing at the time of graduation or transfer from CCRI
  • Earn a minimum grade of C in order to transfer a course into SCE
