Significant projects: Dr. Agartan teaches courses on American Health Care System, Global Health, Comparative Health Policy and Sociology of Health. Currently working on two book projects – one focusing on the Sustainable Development Health Goal and an edited Handbook on Health Policy.  Another research project focuses on the role of arts in community responses to Covid-19 pandemic. Dr. Agartan also works on Global Education initiatives at PC and serves as the Track 2 sponsor for the Business and Innovation minor. 

Biography: Tuba I. Agartan is a Professor of Health Policy and Management at Providence College, United States. Her research interests are at the interface of social policy and sociology with a focus on comparative health policy, professions and health care reform, global health and governance. She has published in several journals and serves as editor of Global Social Policy. (150 words or less)
