Neil was Rhode Island Lawyers Weekly Lawyer of the Year and finalists for Trial Lawyer of the Year by the national Trial Lawyers for Public Justice. A former board member of Rhode Island KID’S COUNT, he is currently on the Board of Trustees of the Ocean Tides, a program for youth in the juvenile justice system.
Biography:
Neil has taught in the SCE since 1996. He is an Assistant Attorney General and Deputy Chief of the Civil Division in the Rhode Island Office of Attorney General. Neil has extensive criminal and civil experience litigating in state and federal court for nearly 30 years including a case decided by the Supreme Court of the United States. He has litigated many high profile civil cases with national implications. Neil is also an instructor with the National Association of Attorney General presenting on negotiations, depositions, and trial practice.
