Retired December 2018 as Business Administrator for the Diocese of Providence Catholic School Office. Formerly served as Business Administrator in the Office of Governor Lincoln Almond. Thirty plus year history serving as a part time instructor at Providence College. Additional teaching experience at the University of Rhode Island, Roger Williams University and Dean College.

Significant projects:
Creation of Rhode Island Families for School Choice www.edchoiceri.org, a not-for-profit advocacy group whose mission is to achieve equal access to all forms of quality educational programming for all students in RI regardless of family address, income or demographics. Currently serving as agency Director in a voluntary capacity.

Biography:
Born and raised in Rhode Island and have always loved this state and loved Providence College. Graduated from Providence College with a degree in Education and later with a Masters in Business Administration. Accumulated significant managerial experience in private business, in State governmental administration and in educational administration within the Diocesan School Office. Married to Kathy McKeon and father to Laura Bastia.
